If you'd like to betatest our Linux products, please sign up to the new Linux email list on the subscribe page. WinMapper for Linux We now have two test PCs set up with Linux, and hope to be betatesting the first release of WinMapper for Linux this summer. We used Borland Delphi and C++ to write WinMapper, and will stay with this combination for Linux (the GNU C compiler and Borland Kylix). The first version looks like this (Red Hat Linux, Bluecurve, GNOME) :
Notes: Hotkeys will be the same as for the Windows version
Notes: The dbl-click feature is reversed on Linux
Notes: The Windows Key will be disabled by default. It will invoke the start menu as under MS Windows. Differs from WinMapper for Microsoft Windows: Features to implement: Profile organizer, Import/Export/Print, Styles, Licensing, all functions/settings, Load/Save/Convert Macro, Keyboard remapping. Features not in first release: WinAmp support, Aliases, MouseKeys |
