The Options window of ScanInbox looks like this:
Below is an explanation of the various controls:
Use default Outlook mailbox
This is the default option, and means that your default Microsoft Outlook profile is used for all email processing.
Log into Microsoft Exchange
When this option is enabled (currently in development), you must specify the Microsoft Exchange Server name and Mailbox name.
The Microsoft Exchange Server name. This is the name of the computer, or IP address.
The Mailbox to open. This must be an exact match of the mailbox name.
The password needed to open the specified mailbox on the Exchange server.
Do not send emails (save drafts only)
When this option is enabled - and it will always be enabled for Trial versions - ScanInbox will never attempt to actually Send an email. Instead all outgoing emails are saved as Drafts in Microsoft Outlook or the Microsoft Exchange Mailbox.
Save outgoing emails in the Sent Items folder
When this option is enabled, all emails that have been sent are kept in the default Sent Items folder in Microsoft Outlook or the Microsoft Exchange Mailbox.
This is the default Email address to use when sending emails.
Click on OK to save your settings and close the Options window.
Click on the Cancel button to discard your changes and close the window.
Click on this button to verify that ScanInbox can actually open Microsoft Outlook or the Microsoft Exchange Mailbox.
